Following the success of our initial Cluster meeting in Leuven, we convened for our second online gathering on Monday, April 22nd, under the theme “Urban greening and re-naturing for urban regeneration, resilience, and climate neutrality” (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-CITIES-01-01). This meeting brought together all initiatives funded under this important category, building on our collective momentum.
During this session, the URBREATH team was thrilled to share and refine foundational synergy guidelines alongside representatives from two innovative projects: GreenInCities and ReGreeneration. GreenInCities is at the forefront of employing holistic, data-driven, and co-creative approaches to nature-based solutions for climate adaptation and mitigation. Meanwhile, ReGreeneration is committed to pioneering the development of green, resilient, and socially inclusive smart cities.
Working in tandem with these groundbreaking projects and under the expert guidance of the European Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), we delved into discussions about the joint evaluation and dissemination activities of our projects. This collaborative effort is a step forward in our shared mission to enhance urban environments and work towards climate neutrality and urban resilience.
