On January 21-22, 2025, URBREATH Partner Cluj Napoca welcomed colleagues from Urbasofia to Cluj for an insightful and productive visit. Their presence facilitated important discussions and co-creation efforts with internal departments and local stakeholders, reinforcing a shared commitment to urban innovation and sustainability.
A Focus on Co-Creation
During the visit, discussions were held with members of the Green Spaces Department (regarding planting initiatives) and the Digitalisation Department (focusing on sensor deployment). The goal was to foster collaboration and integrate innovative solutions into urban planning. The visit featured two key types of activities:

Focused Workshop Sessions with Key Stakeholders
Someș Masterplan Team: Potential elements that could be integrated into the Digital Twin (DT) were explored to enhance urban planning and environmental monitoring.
Academic Collaboration: Engagement with the University of Agronomic Sciences and the Faculty of Landscaping took place to plan a co-design workshop with students, fostering academic involvement in sustainable urban development.

Two interactive sessions were organised with the communities of Iris and Someșeni, providing a platform for citizens to share insights and innovative ideas.
