We are excited to announce that URBREATH will be a key participant at the Leuven Climate Data Event, on February 13th, an initiative within the USAGE project, dedicated to exploring innovative, data-driven solutions for urban sustainability. This event will bring together city officials, entrepreneurs, and engaged citizens to exchange knowledge and co-create impactful solutions. URBREATH’s presence highlights its commitment to leveraging data and digital twin solutions for nature-based solutions (NbS) in Leuven neighborhoods.
Laura Dens from our partner the City of Leuven, will deliver a presentation, offering insights into the project’s role in integrating co-creation and digital twin technologies to develop sustainable urban environments. The presentation will emphasise how data-driven methodologies can be harnessed to enhance urban sustainability, creating greener, healthier, and more resilient cities.
Later in the day, Laura will participate in a panel discussion alongside representatives from Leuven 2030 and GIM, exploring the intersection of technology, governance, and community-driven initiatives to tackle environmental challenges effectively. This discussion will be a valuable opportunity to highlight URBREATH’s innovative approaches and their practical implications for Leuven’s future.
