ENG, together with the City of Kajaani and KAMK, presented the piloting activities, results, and experiences from testing the EU LDT Toolbox through the URBREATH platform at the Official Launch Event in Valencia (16–17 June).
Kajaani has officially joined the EU LDT Toolbox piloting activities, with the City of Kajaani, KAMK, and URBREATH actively contributing to the initiative. Following a successful pilot session on 11 June, the experiences and outcomes were shared during the launch event.
During the pilot session, the team used GeoCacher to initiate an energy label analysis by selecting a building area and providing key parameters, including annual energy consumption and annual CO₂ emissions. The pilot demonstrated how GeoCacher can trigger analyses and how the results can be integrated and visualised through the URBREATH ecosystem, showcasing the solution’s potential for urban energy assessments.
At the launch event in Valencia, videos from the different pilots were presented, and we are proud that Kajaani was among them. The event highlighted the collaborative work carried out across Europe and provided an opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities and future potential of the LDT Toolbox.
We are excited to see Kajaani contributing to the European digital twin ecosystem and look forward to the next phases of the pilot.
