We are thrilled to share that URBREATH participated in Genova Smart Week 2024, which took place from November 25th to December 1st in Genova, Italy. This prestigious event brought together innovators, policymakers, and institutions to explore sustainable, human-centered urban solutions. The theme aligned perfectly with URBREATH’s mission to transform urban landscapes by incorporating nature into city infrastructure through solutions like green roofs, urban forests, and wetlands. These initiatives address critical challenges such as urban heat islands, flood risks, and air pollution while enhancing the health and well-being of city dwellers.
Our participation presented key opportunities to drive our vision forward. Engaging with experts, researchers, and policymakers provided fresh perspectives to enhance our urban greening initiatives, while networking with like-minded stakeholders helped us scale these efforts globally. Representing URBREATH, Francesco Tognoni from the Lisbon Council shared our innovative approaches, fostering collaborations to integrate nature into cities worldwide. By joining this global conversation, URBREATH reaffirmed its commitment to creating smarter, greener urban environments where people and nature thrive together.
