Through the URBREATH project, citizens can now discover and interact with proposed urban visions in Leuven using Augmented Reality (AR).
Developed by URBREATH partner Telesto Technologies, the URBREATH AR Viewer offers an interactive way to experience digital representations of urban spaces, helping make future urban transformations more accessible and easier to understand.
The AR Viewer allows users to visualise proposed urban designs through their smartphones, bringing digital 3D models into an interactive augmented reality experience.
By making urban planning concepts more tangible, the tool helps citizens better understand proposed changes to public spaces and explore how these spaces could look in the future.
The AR Viewer is accessible through the URBREATH e-participation mobile application or can be used independently, making it easy for citizens to engage with the digital content.
