URBREATH at the actGREEN Event – Exploring Sustainable and Aesthetic Cities

Alexandra Poliec from City of Cluj Napoca represented the URBREATH at the actGREEN event, part of the Transylvania Architecture Biennale 2025 (BATRA), held in Cluj-Napoca.

Under the theme “est.etic”, the actGREEN event explored how urban design, technology, and the energy transition can help create sustainable and aesthetically pleasing cities — harmonizing functionality with the beauty of the built environment.

During the panel discussion, Alexandra shared insights into URBREATH’s work as a consortium and its local initiatives in Cluj-Napoca, highlighting how the project contributes to urban revitalization and climate neutrality through Nature, Technology, and Community.

Her presentation emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in transforming European cities into greener, more resilient, and people-centered environments.
